SORORITY RECRUITING PAGEANT PARTICIPANTS

The Beta Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority is seeking participants for its Junior/Senior Pageant, to be held May 18 at William Fleming High School.

The pageant will feature youths between the ages of 12 and 19 in exhibitions of talent, oratory and poise in evening wear.

The annual event is a fund-raising for the chapter's scholarship fund.

Those interested in participating may attend an introductory tea March 16 at 2 p.m. at the Lawson Building, 401 First St. N.W. Applications also may be obtained at Roanoke-area schools and churches.
