Mr. Larry Orlando Cofer, formerly of Montvale, Va. departed this life on Monday, March 4, 1991 at home. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn their loss are his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Curtis; stepfather, Mr. Ted Curtis, Blue Field, W. Va.; grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Cofer, Montvale; four sisters, Sabrina Curtis, Martha Curtis, Beverly Curtis, all of Blue Field, W.Va.; Seretha Jean Owens, Newberry, N.Y.; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Tyrone and Chari Curtis, Dayton, Ohio; Theodore and Kimela Curtis, Los Vegas, Nev.; two aunts, Lillian (Jackie) Wills, Thaxton, Va.; Kathleen Hobson, Montvale; one uncle, Herbert (Tony) Cofer, Montvale; two great-uncles, John Cofer, Washington, D.C.; Odell Hairston, Salem, Va.; two very close and devoted friends, Solomon Meney, Mt. Rainier, Md.; Kathy Squarles, Greenbelt, Md.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Napoleon Jones will officiate with burial in the family cemetery, Montvale. The family will receive friends Friday, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hamlar-Curtis morticians.
