> Djon Mundine will speak on Australian Aboriginal art Saturday at the roanoke Museum of Fine Arts.
The speaker, an Aboriginal himself, is a field curator for the Art Gallery of New South Wales. He is patron of Boomali Aboriginal Artists Co-operative in Sydney and art advisor for the Ramingining Community of Central Arnham Land, N.T., Australia.
Mundine is appearing in connection with the museum's current exhibition of Australian Aboriginal art from the collection of John W. Kluge.
His lecture will begin at 6 p.m. and is open to the public without charge. A reception will follow.
The museum's show of Aboriginal art continues through April 14.
Open rehearsal
The time of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra's open rehearsal on March 18 has been changed from 10 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the Roanoke Civic Center auditorium.
