OBIT LACY, M.

Mason Harden Lacy, Jr., age 43, died Wednesday evening in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was a graduate of VPI and the William and Mary School of Law and studied at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He was an attorney for the United States Government and was preceded in death by his father, M. H. "Casey" Lacy, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Ellen Crockett Lacy of Wytheville, Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Crockett "Chuck" and Jane Eller Lacy of Wytheville, Va.; Lewis Edwin and Sandra Grover Lacy of Floyd, Va.; one niece, Emily Jane Lacy; one nephew, Charles Crockett Lacy, Jr., both of Wytheville, Va. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wytheville Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends in the parlor of the Wytheville Presbyterian Church from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Friday. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
