HANKS NOW VOTING REGISTRAR FOR PULASKI COUNTY

Pulaski County will have a new voting registrar next month.

Phyllis Hanks, 33, has been named by the county electoral board for that job, effective April 1.

She will succeed Kathleen Hull, who has held the job for 16 years. Hull became an assistant registrar more than 20 years ago, and replaced William Thomas Sr. when he retired.

Hanks has served as assistant registrar under Hull for nearly six years.
