AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT TO BE SHOWN AT TECH

The "Remember Their Names" AIDS Memorial Quilt, a project sponsored by Lamba Horizons, will be displayed at the Virginia Tech War Memorial Gym, March 29-31.

The project was designed to illustrate the urgency and enormity of the AIDS pandemic and as a call for an immediate, compassionate response by revealing the names and the lives behind the global statistics.

Donations are encouraged to help raise money for people with AIDS and for their caregivers.

The opening ceremony is Friday, March 29, 6-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
