OBIT - THOMAS, O. FLOYD

Ollie Underwood Thomas, age 72 , passed away Thursday evening at her home. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harmon and Juanita Thomas of Check; one granddaughter, Lisa Thomas of Check; one grandson, Greg Thomas of Floyd; four sisters, Ruby Agnew and Ava Wells, both of Floyd; Larma Harmon of Martinsville; Zella Compton of Christiansburg; one brother, Gilbert Underwood of Bassett. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph P. Falls and the Rev. J. D. Harmon officiating with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Gardner Funeral Home.
