NORFOLK ST. GETS `DOGS' RAMEY

Ben Ramey, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound lineman for Martinsville's Piedmont District runner-up football team, has signed a grant-in-aid with Norfold State.

Ramey played defensive tackle for the Bulldogs, who made the Region III Division 4 finals against Salem. He also played some offensive tackle and fullback as a lead blocker. Ramey was a first-team selection on the All-Piedmont District team and a second-team choice on All-Region III. -staff report
