OBIT LOCKARD, D.

Mrs. Dora Gay Showalter Lockard, age 92, of Salem, died Friday, March 8, 1991. She was the oldest living member of Central United Methodist Church, Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spotts Judson Lockard. She is survived by two sons, Woodrow J. Lockard, Roanoke; Alvie M. Lockard, Troutville; three grandchildren, Barry L. Lockard, Roanoke County; Gary P. Lockard, Sharon L. Hunter, both of Dublin; four great-grandchildren, Sally V. Lockard, Ross C. Lockard, Erin G. Hunter, Darrin N. Hunter. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Central United Methodist Church, Salem, with the Rev. Henry S. Moody Jr. and the Rev. Branon Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
