The workshop is funded by a $5,000 federal grant to the college's division of engineering technologies and mathematics. It will be held in Grayson Hall.
The Monday segment is open to the public, and includes displays of the latest computer technology.
The instructional segment is limited to 20 participants. Don Alexander, associate professor of machine technology, said Wytheville Community College is taking the instructional lead in the area of computer-aided manufacturing and the conference will allow it to share its experiences with other community colleges.
