FOREST WOMAN DIES IN ACCIDENT

A 28-year-old Forest woman was killed Saturday night in a single-car accident on U.S. 460 in Bedford County, according to a state police dispatcher.

Angelica Beatrice Pappas of Route 1, Forest, was driving eastbound just before 8 p.m. when her 1988 pickup truck veered off the right side of the road and ended in a ditch, the dispatcher said.

Pappas was pronounced dead at 9:19 p.m. at Bedford Memorial Hospital.

She was not wearing a seat belt, according to a preliminary report by Trooper M.G. Tsoleas.

No other information was available Saturday night.
