Marcie Ann Vess and Mark Dwayne Harless are engaged and planning to be married in August. Marcie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney L. Vess of Mill Creek, Va. She graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and attends VA Western Community College. She is employed by Starmount Clinic, Inc. Mark is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kennith W. Harless of Blue Ridge. He graduated from William Byrd High School, Vinton. He is employed by Ingersoll-Rand Co., Inc.
