She is a certified public accountant and is currently employed as an accountant with Machen, McChesney, and Chastain in Auburn, AL.
The groom, son of Mrs. Jacob A. Lutz, Jr., and the late Prof. Jacob A. Lutz, Jr., of Blacksburg, is a graduate of Blacksburg High School and received a bachelors degree from Virginia Tech in Civil engineering. He is a registered professional engineer and former project manager for Texaco's New Orleans Division. He has M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Purdue University and is currently an assistant professor of civil engineering at Auburn University in Auburn, AL.
Matron of honor was Mary Morrison of Hammond, IN. Bridesmaids were Julie Orben of Zionsville, IN., Debbie Caroll of Columbus, IN., Beth Pocza of South Bend, IN., and Patricia Rodgers, sister of the groom, of Murrysville, PA. Flowergirl was Lindsay Wade, niece of the bride, of Batesville, IN.
Best man was Jacob A. Lutz III, brother of the groom, of Richmond, VA.
