Christy D. Putnam and Clinton L. Ray were married January 28, 1991. The reception was held at 8402 Brubaker Dr. The maid of honor waws Angie Putnam, sister of the bride. The best man was Jamie Cox. The bride's gown was satin, Victorian style. She carried a bouquet of off white with lavender and silk ribbons. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis O. Putnam of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School. The groom, son of Eddie L. Ray of Tennessee, is a graduate of Liberty High School. He is serving in the U.S. Army. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
