BISHOP ANNIVERSARY

Carl S. and Virginia M. Bishop, 610 S. Franklin St., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 9 with a celebration given by their children at the Farmhouse Restaurant. They were married March 8, 1941, in Christiansburg. Mrs. Bishop, the former Virginia Alice Miles, is retired from Imperial Reading and is a homemaker. Mr. Bishop is retired from the U.S. Air Force with 23 years service. They have four children and seven grandchildren. They attend Auburn Baptist Church. Out-of-town guest attending the celebration included Allan Bishop, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gould, Levittown, Pa.
