JOSHUA Zimmerman, a Princeton senior, stated (Commentary Page, Feb. 28): "I strongly support America's war against Iraq. I would also be tempted to dodge the draft if President Bush ordered one."

He closed by stating that he "will be content to support our courageous volunteer GIs from the sidelines."
