OBIT-HOBSON, H.

H. Monroe (Monk) Hobson, age 75, of Roanoke, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. Mr. Hobson was retired from Kraft Incorporated. He was a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Turner Hobson; a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle H. and Dr. Kenneth Keppel, and a grandson, Andrew Keppel, all of Bowie, Md.; two brothers, J. Lewis Hobson, Virginia Beach, Va.; Cecil L. Hobson, College Park, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Nancy H. Hawkins, Denver, Colo. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel. The Rev. Robert M. Hamner and Carol Harrington will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 10:00 a.m. Monday where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
