GATORS FINISH THIRD IN STATE SWIM MEET

The Roanoke Valley Gators finished third in the Region II state A/B swimming championships at the University of Richmond.

Emily Mullet was the only individual winner for the Gators, taking the 100-yard freestyle for 10-and-under girls, but the Gators had several strong finishes in other divisions.

Nova, out of Richmond, finished first among the 10 teams competing. The Southwest Aquatic Team from Pulaski was fifth. 10-under boys
