MARSHALL CRUSHES WINLESS KEYDETS, 16-0

A nine-run fourth inning helped Marshall blast VMI 16-0 in a Southern Conference college baseball game Sunday, keeping the Keydets winless this year.

Thundering Herd catcher John Ellis was 4-for-4 with four RBI.

Marshall pitcher Bill Craig held VMI to two hits in six innings, retiring 12 straight in one stretch.
