Mrs. Julia Vester Nichols Green, age 76, of Vinton, died Monday in a local hospital. She was the widow of William Isaac Green and a member of the Vinton Wesleyan Church. She was predeceased by a son, William Calvin Green. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Annabel and Glenn Owen, Roanoke; Carol and Junior Gusler, Stewartsville; four grandchildren, Julie Owen, David and Daniel Gusler, Glenda Marshall, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Stanford Nichols and Ernest Nichols, both of Copper Hill; Willard Nichols, Callaway. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakeys Vinton Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 1991 with Rev. Dr. Flavy B. Brown and the Rev. John L. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakeys Vinton Chapel.
