Paul H. Killgore, age 71, of Roanoke died Sunday in a local hospital. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church, past Potentate of the Kazim Temple, a member of the Lakeland Masonic Lodge #190 A.F & A.M., a member of the Roanoke Scottish Rite Bodies, the Kazim Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters Court #59, the Royal Order of Scotland, a member of the Roanoke Valley Shrine Club, a past Captain of the Provost Guard Emeritus, a member of the Elks Club, and Cabiri. He was retired from Citgo Oil Company and currently employed by APB/Whiting Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Graydon and Effie Killgore; mother-in-law, Fannie W. Wright, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Everett and Robertine Wright. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Marie Wright Killgore; brother and sister-in-law, Malcom and Ruth Killgore; one niece, Debra Killgore; one nephew, James B. Killgore; all of Roanoke; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clarence and Virginia Wright of Orlando, Fla.; brother-in-law, James L. Wright, Jr. of Dania, Fla. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert M. Hamner officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will be held at Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Crippled Childrens Hospital, Greenville, S.C. through the Kazim Temple in Roanoke. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
