ROCKY MOUNT - Mrs. Alice (Bill) Philpott Rountree Price, age 79, of 319 Oak St., died Monday, March 11, 1991, in the local hospital. She was an active member of the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, F.M.D. (Jack) Price; nieces, Nancy Perdue Shively, Ferrum; Cabell Shively, Atlanta, Ga.; nephew, Elliott Perdue Shively, Willmington, N.C. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the High Street Cemetery with Dr. Carl E. Savage officiating. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, where the the family will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church or a charity of ones choose.
