OBIT-LAMB, H.

MONTVALE -Helen L. Lamb, age 81, of Route 1, died Monday, March 11, 1991 in a Bedford hospital. She was born in Botetourt County on November 11, 1909, the daughter of the late Ira G. Lamb and Eveline Crawford Lamb. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her brothers: I. Clyde Lam, Melvin Lam, both of Montvale; one sister, Lucille L. Dooley, Montvale; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 13, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. George Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Union Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at other times at the home of Clyde Lam.
