OBIT-STANLEY, L.

HIWASSEE - Lee William Stanley, age 78, died Monday in a Radford hospital. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Ruth) Marshall, Willis; three brothers, Artle Stanley, Morganton, Ga.; Monroe Stanley, Franklin, N.C.; Arvil Stanley, Birmingham, Ala.; three grandchildren, Sandra Phillips, Indian Valley; Johnny Marshall and William Marshall, both of Willis; one great-grandson, Brandon Phillips. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. M.D. Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Big Sand Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
