PSYCHIATRIST: SLAYING SUSPECT NOT MENTALLY ILL

A psychiatrist testified Monday that Chander "Bobby" Matta, charged with the slayings of three Washington-area women, is not suffering from any mental illness beyond his control.

Dr. Stanton Samenow testified in Circuit Court that Matta's actions last Memorial Day weekend, when the slayings took place, seemed "logical, rational and deliberate." - Associated Press
