TEEN ALLEGEDLY MADE FAKE DRIVER'S LICENSES

A 17-year-old Woodbridge youth who worked at the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles has been charged with making and selling false driver's licenses, Prince William County police said.

The Woodbridge High School student, whose name has not been released because he is a juvenile, is charged with manufacturing at least 35 false driver's licenses, officials said.

The youth worked part time as a DMV photographer in conjunction with a school work-training project. He is accused of selling the fake licenses for $20 to $90.

Police said Monday they have found 35 people between the ages of 16 and 20 who bought the fake licenses, some of whom used them for buying alcoholic beverages.
