OBIT PERDUE, D.

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Perdue, age 70, of Route 3, died Tuesday, March 12, 1991. She was born in Franklin County August 7, 1920, daughter of the late Aaron Campbell and the late Rosie Carver Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John O. Perdue and was a member of the Glade Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bobby (Ella) Chitwood of Rocky Mount; three sons and daughters-in-law, John J. (Jim) and Peggy Perdue of Glade Hill; Charles W. (Bud) and Gayenelle Perdue of Rocky Mount; Richard and Nancy Perdue of Glade Hill (Redwood Community); 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Silvey of Calif.; one brother, Donald Campbell of Austin, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Johnny L. Blackwell. Burial will follow in the Perdue Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home.
