PROGRAM TO DISCUSS ROLE OF FEMALE CLERGY

The March edition of "Community Speaking," Radford University's public affairs program, focuses on female clergy.

Host Bill Yearick will lead a discussion of the emerging role of women in the church with the Rev. Gina Rhea of First Christian Church, Sr. Maude Cherry of the Church of God, and Ray Penn, assistant professor of speech and a former minister.

"Community Speaking" airs on Simmons Cable Channel 9 in Radford and Christiansburg on Sundays at 6 p.m., Tuesdays at 5 p.m., Wednesdays at noon and Thursdays at 7 p.m.
