WHERE ARE LIBERALS WHO INSULTED BUSH?

WHAT HAS become of those mouthy, insulting, liberal Democrat legislators who called President Bush a wimp? I suppose, like whipped dogs, they are trying to hide.

Why have the Democrats who long to occupy the White House decided not to face President Bush in 1992? Again, I suppose, they do not care to face humiliation, as their last candidate suffered.

The likes of Sen. Sam Nunn of Georgia, Sen. Lloyd Bentsen of Texas, Gov. Mario Cuomo of New York, House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt of Missouri, Sen. Albert Gore Jr. of Tennessee and Gov. Bill Clinton of Arkansas all have their backers. None has made a move for candidacy. They all well know what a humiliating defeat would do to their careers. The liberal Democrats would sell our wonderful United States to benefit their asinine political beliefs. CHARLIE B. RATCLIFFE RADFORD
