Mrs. Lucille M. Jackson, age 87, of 1167 Nover Ave, N.W. died at her home Wednesday, March 13, 1991. She is the widow of Phillip Jackson, was a member of North Roanoke Baptist Church, and a former member of Hertford Baptist Church, Hertford, N.C. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie M. Cone, Daphne, Ala.; Mrs. Christine Montgomery, Roanoke; one son, Paul M. Matthews, Winston-Salem, N.C.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alpine Dennis, Virginia Beach. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 15 with the Rev. Dr. Darryl Crim officiating. Graveside service and burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery, Hertford, N.C. 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 12:00 noon Thursday.
