James A. Templeton, age 66, of 4513 North Ridge Street N.E., died Wednesday, March 13, 1991. He was a former member of the Bedford Volunteer Fire Department; was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a part time driver for the William Fleming Colonels activity bus. Survived by his wife, Barbara S. Templeton; one brother, John W. Templeton, Jr.; two sisters, Mildred T. Dale and Mary T. Hostetter, all of Lexington; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 15 with the Rev. Bradford L. Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Virginia Memorial Park, Forest, Va. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
