OBIT DELLIS, W.

William Malton Dellis, age 76, of Route 1, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 1991, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bedford County on December 7, 1914, a son of the late Robert Elsa Dellis and Sallie Overstreet Dellis. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Colesta Genevie Mitchen Dellis, one son, Sherman W. Dellis, Huddleston; one daughter, Glenda D. Newman, Huddleston; one brother, Clarence Dellis, Huddleston; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 1991, from Updike Funeral Home, Huddleston, by the Rev. Christopher Fowler with interment in Patmos United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
