`SMOKELESS' CLASSES TO BE HELD AT HOSPITAL

St. Albans Psychiatric Hospital will offer a series of classes on how to give up a nasty habit: smoking.

An introductory class for "Smokeless" will be held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the C-2 conference room of the new St. Albans facility. Classes will be held on four consecutive days and three maintenance sessions will be held over the next three weeks.

The program costs $50, which includes instruction, seven booklets on making quitting easier and various materials on maintaining weight and reducing stress.

Once a person has been through the program, he or she may enroll again at no cost by presenting his membership card. However, at the end of four days, participants should have quit smoking.
