STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Lebanon 72 Sussex Central 70 Lebanon's Eric Meadows hit a 12-foot, off-balance jumper with two seconds remaining lifting Lebanon over Sussex Central in a Group A quarterfinal game.

Lebanon (21-7) will met Haysi in Friday's semifinals.

Tony Jackson led Lebanon with 20 points while Ben Campbell and Jeff Campbell each had 16 points. Meadows finished with 15 - 10 in the final four minutes of play.

Sussex Central (20-6) was led by junior center Delwyn Dillard with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Aljamont Joiner had 12 points and Alexis Turner added 11 points for the Tigers.
