GIRL REPORTS RAPE BY KNIFEPOINT IN SCHOOL BATHROOM

A 14-year-old middle school student has told police she was raped in a school bathroom at knifepoint by three teen-agers who said they would kill her if she told anyone.

The rape occurred after school on March 1, but the girl did not tell her parents until Monday, police said. School officials were alerted, and police began an investigation Wednesday.

"She kept quiet because she was terrified," said Melodie Dickerson, investigator of the Youth Division. "The boys threatened to kill her."

The attack occurred at Ruffner Middle School about 2:15 p.m.
