OBIT-STRAWBRIDGE, E.

GLASGOW - Mrs. Evelyn Kyle Strawbridge, departed this life Monday at her residence in Patterson, N.J. She was born in Glasgow to the late John and Willie Jones Kyle. Her husband was the late Pannell Strawbridge, Sr. She is survived by a son, Pannell Strawbridge, Jr. of Patterson, N.J.; two sisters, Audrey Franklin and Julia Franklin, both of Glasgow; three brothers, Dalton Kyle, Robert Kyle and Smiley Kyle, all of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 3:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Artis Appling Pastor. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are by Franklin/Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
