4 INJURED WHEN PLANE CRASHES INTO HOUSE

A small plane crashed into a house in southern West Virginia on Thursday, injuring the four family members from Virginia aboard, authorities said.

The four-seat, single-engine Cessna clipped some treetops, the roof of one home and struck the front of another house about 5 p.m., state police said.

No one on the ground was injured.

A couple and their two children from Bluefield, Va. - just across the state border - were hospitalized with multiple injuries.

The family's names were not released pending notification of relatives. - Associated Press
