PULASKI KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION PLANNED

Kindergarten registration for children who will be entering Pulaski County schools in the fall has been scheduled in all elementary schools in Pulaski County for Thursday, 4-7 p.m., and next Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Parents are asked to enroll children in their home-school attendance zone.

Children are eligible to enter school for 1991-92 if they are 5 by Sept. 30, 1991. Parents or guardians of children who have a fifth birthday during October or November may seek special permission to enroll the children. School officials will determine if these children are ready to enter school after screening them.

Before fall admission, parents must obtain a certified copy of each child's birth certificate for school records. A Social Security number for each child is required. All children entering school must have a physical exam within 12 months before the first day of school. For more information, please call the school in your attendance zone:
