W.VA. MAN KILLED IN I-81 ACCIDENT

A 59-year-old Charleston, W.Va., man died Thursday after being struck by a car on the on-ramp from Plantation Road to southbound Interstate 81 in Roanoke County.

Samuel Campbell died at the scene about 6:50 p.m.

State Police dispatchers said Campbell was standing alongside his wife's car on the shoulder of the road when he was struck by a car driven by Loyd K. Obenshain, whose address was unavailable.
