OBIT WRIGHT, P.

Pearl Darnell Wright, age 74, of Rt. 3, Vinton, passed away Friday. She was the widow of James Thomas Wright. She was a member of Barnhardt Baptist Church, a charter member of the Lady's Auxiliary of the Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Fire Department, also a member of the O.E.S. Vinton Chapter #136 and the Harmony Rebecca Lodge #36 of Stewartsville. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Russell P. (Butch) and Joy Wright of Rt. 3, Vinton; one brother, Robert Darnell of Roanoke; granddaughter and husband, Sheri and Garry Leonard; two great-grandchildren, Shaun and Carrington Leonard. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 1991, from the Barnhardt Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry A. Mabrey officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
