Herbert Lee Catron, age 68, died Friday, March 15, 1991, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon. He was a life time Smyth County farmer and a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Anne Bonham Catron; two sons, Herbert Lee Catron, Jr., Samuel Morton Catron, both of Chilhowie; two daughters, Roberta Catron Graham, Williamsburg; Rebecca Catron Harris, Chilhowie; also seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mountain View United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Home, Chilhowie.
