WOMAN WHO HELPS ABUSED TEENS TO SPEAK

Lois Lee, founder of a non-profit organization to help teens who are sexually abused, will visit Southwest Virginia Community College on Wednesday and Thursday as part of Women's History Month and International Women's Day.

In the past 10 years, Lee has taken more than 250 children into her home. She has been profiled on CBS-TV's "60 Minutes" and was the subject of a television movie of the week.

She will speak Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday at 11:15 a.m. on campus. The first presentation will follow a reception. The talks are free and open to the public. - Southwest bureau
