MAGNET SCHOOLS DEADLINE FRIDAY

Friday is the application deadline for Roanoke's Magnet School programs.

Magnet Schools accept students from Roanoke and surrounding localities into programs where particular themes are emphasized. In addition to the core curriculum, students receive instruction in such areas as dance, computer science, music and aviation.

There is no tuition charge.
