TEEN SAYS HE KILLED 2 BOYS FOUND IN WOODS

A 16-year-old boy confessed to police that he used a knife to kill two boys whose bodies were found in a wooded area near their homes, a search warrant affidavit said.

The sworn statement was signed by Detective J.D. Price and filed in Circuit Court. The affidavit said the admission came Saturday during an interview with Detective Shawn Hoffman.

The bodies of Daniel Wayne Geier, 9, and Christopher Scot Weaver, 7, were found March 5, partially buried in woods near Wadsworth Homes where Novak and the two boys lived. Their throats had been cut.
