Eliza Cash Thompson, age 80, died Friday, March 15, 1991, in the Community Hospital of Roanoke. Mrs. Thompson was born September 10, 1910, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Richard Loving Cash and Viney Hall Cash. She was a member of the High Bridge Presbyterian Church and was the widow of John Calvin Thompson Sr. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, John Calvin and Mary Thompson Jr.; Harold Lee and Norma Thompson, both of Buchanan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marian T. and Curtis Fox of Natural Bridge; Betty T. and Howard Moody of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; also surviving, a special niece, Edith Whiteside; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted, 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 1991, at the High Bridge Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Glenn Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
