Goldie Fletcher Thomas, age 69, of 2115 Fairview Street, died Friday, March 15, 1991, in Montgomery Regional Hospital after a brief illness. A member of Anath Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Nowlin, and brother, Wallace Fletcher. She is survived by her husband, James Dennis Thomas; a son and daughter-in-law, Basil and Judy Boles, Narrows; daughters and son-in-law, Janet Goad, Bassett; Nina Louise Ratliff, Collinsville; Connie and Johnny Hawley, Christiansburg; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday from the graveside in Roselawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Sam Hancock. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 Sunday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
