CHATHAM WOMAN KILLED IN WRECK

A 22-year-old Chatham woman died early Friday after a single-car accident in Franklin County.

A state police spokeswoman Saturday said it was unclear whether Lisa Jean Greer was the driver or passenger in the vehicle.

The car went down an embankment off Virginia 890 and overturned about 11:50 p.m. Thursday. Greer died at a hospital about an hour and a half later.
