James Frederic Bradley Jr., born September 14, 1917 in Halifax County, Va., to James F. Bradley Sr. and Lula J. Crute Bradley, died March 15, 1991, at Giles Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Elizabeth Mayo Bradley. Mr. Bradley lived in Radford from 1940 until 1990. He was a retired employee of American Bakeries. After his retirement he was a hospital volunteer at Radford Community Hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Jack Burn of Ripplemead; a son and daughter-in-law, James William (Bill) and Kaye Bradley of Salem; a sister and brother-in-law, M. Eleanor and Robert Calfee of Radford; two granddaughters, Sara Elizabeth Justis Burn and Jennifer Ann Taylor Burn, both of Ripplemead. Several nieces and nephews and many dear friends also survive. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
