Cherise Kay Monteith and Robert H. Cochran are engaged and planning to be married August 10, 1991. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary E. Monteith of Charlotte, N.C. She was graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1985, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989, and is employed by Petree Stockton & Robinson. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Paul Cochran. He was graduated from William Fleming High School in Roanoke in 1984, James Madison University in 1988, and is employed by Derrick Stubbs & Stith.
