MURPHY-CORRELL

Jacqueline Marie Correll and Ervin Thomas Murphy, III, were married January 2, 1991, in the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, Va. The groom's father, Rev. Ervin Thomas Murphy, Jr., officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at the Sheraton Beach Inn, Virginia Beach. The maid of honor was Maribeth Francis, of San Jose, Calif. The bridesmaids were Lisa Eversole, Rural Retreat, Va., Denise Coffey, Wytheville, Va., Lorri Flinniken, Gaetta, Italy, and Sandra Knowlton, Loudoun, Va. The best man was Foster Murphy, of Virginia Beach, brother of the groom. The ushers were Scott Funk, Reston, Va., friend, Rob Stiles, Richmond, Va., Sean Montgomery, Quantico, Va., Scott Mallory, Ashland, Va., Tim Beasley, Charlottesville, Va., and John Thornhill, Lynchburg, Va. The candlelighters were Scott Funk and Scott Mallory. The guestbook was attended by Susan Mullenour. The bride carried a bouquet of white and pink roses. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Willard Correll, of Wytheville, Va., graduated from Rural Retreat High School and attended Radford University. She is employed by the Virginia State Police. The groom, a son of Rev. and Mrs. Ervin Thomas Murphy, Jr., of Virginia Beach, Va., graduated from E.C. Glass High School, Lynchburg, Va., and Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Va. He is also employed by the Virginia State Police. The newlyweds will live in Centreville, Va.
